The HSSC Concert Band is run in conjunction with the College’s Instrumental Music program. Attendance at Concert Band rehearsals is compulsory for all instrumental students the Instrumental Teachers deem of being of high enough standard. The Concert Band rehearses weekly and performs at a range of events including Eisteddfods, TYME Festival and College ceremonies. The Concert Band performs a range of music from traditional to pop & rock music. Due to the nature of working as part of an ensemble, regular attendance and commitment is essential for students. Students are expected to practice their parts at home in addition to participation in rehearsals.
Cost: Students will be required to pay for bus travel to events such as TYME
Other Information: Formal uniform will be required for performances
