The HSSC Art Club is an afternoon activity available to all students. Students who attend Art Club will be stepping into an energetic and vibrant culture within HSSC that has many devoted students who participate purely for the love and enjoyment of making art. Art Club is the opportunity to learn and discover more about a diverse range of art materials that you may not get the opportunity to use in your regular art classes, such as: ceramics, acrylic painting, printmaking and mixed media. During the year Art Club will explore a diverse range of art themes and techniques such as portraiture, graffiti and digital media. Opportunities to display and present artworks are available in HSSC’s own gallery. Attending Art Club can be an opportunity for students to work with guest artists from our local community on skill development, completing community projects and the college mural. Attendance to Art Club is not compulsory although it is suggested that if you start a project you should continue to attend in order to finish it.

Other Information: To cover the extra cost of ceramics there may be minor cost involved for the purchase of clay for students participating in the activity.
