Hospitality Students: Mrs Kennedy wanted to congratulate and publicly thank the

Hampton. These students did a
magnificent job and were awarded with Values Certificates to thank them for
their efforts. Congratulations to Amber Ole, Bianca Nieuwendaal, Dessa Munn,
Meaghan Levis, Estelle Lancaster, Renae Green, Gage Doherty and Aleesha Burns.
Three Hospitality students, Lily,
Amber and Chloe have also volunteered to assist at the Highfields Community
Gunfire Breakfast on Anzac Day at 5:30am. Mrs Kennedy thanked these students
for giving up their time for this community event.
School Property: Mrs Kennedy was disappointed at the lack of respect that some of
our students are showing towards our new buildings. This week there was an incident where ink had
been smeared over the floor in K Block (K16) and the cleaners have had to use
harsh solvents to remove the ink. Some of the room numbers have also been
removed recently from K Block. Students were requested to report any incidents
of this type immediately to their classroom teacher or a Deputy Principal as
this is one of our school values - Taking Care of this Place.

National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence - Friday, 17th
March: This Friday
we will be raising awareness against all forms of bullying and promoting
inclusion for everyone. Our House
Captains have organised activities for students to participate in which are in
a non-competitive environment. College Captains will also be available at a
Help Desk for students to talk to/about bullying incidents and to offer
advice. More information regarding this
will be provided in the Student Notices on Thursday and Friday mornings.
Students are encouraged to wear
something orange for the day. This day
is not a fundraiser or free dress day so no money needs to brought to
school. Students are simply requested to
wear something orange to help raise awareness.
