Cross Country Carnival: Mr Wingrave informed students of the two events being held next Thursday, 26th April during Period 4.  For competitive runners there is a new course this year at the Highfields Sports and Recreation Centre.  Students wishing to participate need to nominate at the C Block staffroom and they will be driven to and from the event.
Non-competitive students are encouraged to score as many House points by walking/jogging/running around the school oval. Each lap will be worth one point.

Soccer Trials U/15 Boys and Girls: Interested students wishing to compete in a soccer competition next week are asked to see Mr James in the C Block staffroom.
Interim Reports: Mrs Barker welcomed all students back to school and encouraged students to set their goals for this term.  She stated that she was very inspired by the efforts of the athletes who competed in the Commonwealth Games, especially Kurt Fearnley.  Mrs Barker hopes that many of our students can also aspire to the Australian athletes and strive to achieve their very best over the coming term.
Value Certificates: Pramit Menon (Senior Basketballer) who received a Values Certificate on assembly on 28th March was not absent for the assembly on 14th March as previously stated.  Unfortunately Pramit had been inadvertently admitted from the list of awardees. We apologise to Pramit for this error.
